Academics

Our school forms the talents of tomorrow. Our students will be prepared to work in the international community, taking on challenges and creating positive lasting change. Instead of a typical semester, trimester, or quarter schedule—we have ten terms. Our students take one class at a time, and our professors teach one class at a time. That means you can fully devote yourself to courses you're interested in without being pulled in different directions.

Mission Statement

The EIAS is a university in which we pursue the truth and we live with purpose because we walk in the Christian faith. Our common life is marked by two things: brotherhood and scholarship. By making Jesus Christ known, loved and followed in our learning and our extra curricular activities, we prepare young adults for productive careers.

The academic performance of EIAS is based on discipline, exploration, and innovation.

What to Expect

Our 24 day terms are focused. We have ten terms in our academic year. 5 terms = 1 normal semester. We achieve 30 credit hours in the semester, or 5 terms. In the 2 semesters (10 terms) a student earns 60 credit hours .

When one term ends , and before another begins, there are a few days. The days between the terms are “signature” days. We have signature programs which are opportunities to find one’s passion and develop a special interest.
